Czech Republic TV in Calabria for a program

CROTONE – The recording of the program "Manu e Matteo in viaggio," broadcast on Ceska Televize, the Czech Republic's state television (equivalent to Rai Uno), took place at the Lucchetta Laboratory in Cirò Marina. The popular program, now in its third season, consists of 10 episodes that will air in prime time.

The first two series, from September to November 2019 and 2020, attracted an audience of 1 million viewers, considering the Czech Republic's population of 10 million. The two hosts are Emanuele Ridi and Matej Ruppert. The former is an Italian chef who runs two well-known restaurants in the center of Prague and has already appeared on several shows on Czech television networks. The latter is a Czech singer and frontman of the band Monkey Business.

Both are highly appealing personalities for local viewers. The two presenters set out to discover the beauty and delicacies of Italy. Antonio Lucchetta welcomed the distinguished guests to the Laboratory, where they first performed a short demonstration of salting peppered fish. Afterward, the Maccaroni Chef Academy , led by CEO and Manager Dr. Corrado Rossi—always committed to promoting and showcasing our region's excellence—thanks to the work of Chef Roberto Spizzirri, showcased the freshly prepared product in a simple yet traditional dish: Spaghetti with fish and crispy breadcrumbs. In addition to the Lucchetta Laboratory and its products, the Cirò Marina area will also be featured, a prestigious tribute to a region rich in tradition and unique features.
